Q. I've been having some problems with me printer. Every time i print something out the paper comes out with my work and also a black line that goes straight down the right side of the paper. it ruins my assignments. it's an hp color laser jet 2600n printer. please help!
A. Sounds like an image drum (probably black) is failing.

Why does my HP 1020 laserjet printer show 3 flashing yellow lights on the control panel when I start it?

When I try to start my HP 1012 LaserJet printer, it shows 3 flashing yellow lights on the right side where the control buttons and lights are instead of the usual green light, which means it's ready to print. I've lost my HP instruction booklet. HP did not respond to my email for help. Any helpful advice much appreciated!

What is the best way to buy ink cartridges for Canon Pixma Pro9000 Printer?
Q. Genuine Canon ink CLI-8 cost too much individually. Eventually, buying inks will cost more than the printer after many uses. Is there a way to buy wholesale, bulk, or have the cartridges refilled by Canon Corp?
A. You can buy the Canon multipack, the only trouble with that is that you may not need all 4 colors. Compatibles are an even better way to save money. Go to toneramerica.com. I've been using them for 10+ years and they have never given me any trouble.
How do i print wireless from my laptop to my printer?

A. the easiest way to print wirelessly from laptop to printer is to have a wifi connection available in your home and then have a wi-fi enabled printer. when you hit print the laptop sniffs out the wifi printer and prints accordingly.
the lexmark x4690 is less than a $100, installs in a few minutes and can also print good looking 4x6 photos- all wirelessly and all very easily. cartridges are about $20
hp printers are harder to install because their wifi connection is unreliable (doesn't find the connection all the time) and the set-up itself is very difficult. also hp bundles a lot of unecessary software that it downloads automatically (cartridges are about $35)
if you have an exisiting printer that is not wifi enabled there are work arounds like a usb dongle and software you can buy to "trick" the printer to work wirelessly but it's more trouble than it's worth
