I get an error message "communication not available" when i try to use my printer. How do I fix?

Q. Dell printer 922, Windows 7.0 system. I have unplugged and replugged both printer and USB. I have also restarted computer. Appreciate any suggestions.

A. Start
Settings
Printers and faxes
Left click the printer icon
Click the word printer
Check "Set as default printer"

Can I make my regular printer a wireless one with some kind of adapter?

Q. I have a regular printer connected to my desktop computer. Now I'm buying a laptop and I was wondering if there is some kind of adapter that can turn my printer (which I really like) into a wireless one so I don't have to be connecting it to the laptop in order to print.

A. Unfortunately I do not believe you can do that without quite a bit of networking knowledge and experience. You'd have to attach the wireless device to the printer, fix an IP address on it, then install the printer on the laptop through a wireless router using that IP address.

So unless that makes sense then the short answer is "No."

Q. Why do people from Christchurch and Auckland swim in pool and then throw bikes at asians who are just getting their printers fixed and putting back on their feet?

What is the best quality home printer that can take the heaviest weight paper?

Q. I have to do some serious printing for a friend and I need a printer that prints exceptional quality (photos without glares on people's faces). Most of all, I gotta print on heavy paper; not 60lb, but more like 100lb paper.

A. That heavy requires a copier. Sorry to say you need a heavier bypass tray other wise any pick up rollers will be wore out by the time you are finished.

HP is the worst for rollers trust me i fix em.
